The HUCFF is the largest and most important university hospital in Brazil. It
is the only one in Rio de Janeiro able to perform complex procedure like
organ transplants and neurosurgery
The conference site is
located between the hotels and
the
international airport. The distance from the Conference site to
the
international airport is about 5 km (a very short distance
considering the size of Rio de Janeiro).
Independent/individual transportation by
metro
from the center of Rio de Janeiro to Maria da Graca station
about 30 minutes (Line 1 (orange line) to Line 2 (green
line) and later on a short distance by taxi (recommended) or
public transportation.
